On May 28th, Prof. Minhua Xu from the Shanghai Institute of Material Medica and Southern University of Science and Technology paid a visit to College of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences (CCMS), Wuhan University.

      He gave us an excellent presentations entitled with “Design of Simple Chiral Olefin Ligands for Asymmetric Catalysis”. In this lexture, Prof Xu demenstrated various strategies in ligand design and the applications in the construction of biologically important compounds and building blocks. After the lecture, Prof. Minhua Xu, faculties and students of CCMS had a warm academic discussion!
